INTERNATIONAL WOMEN´S DAY – 8th MARCH

This is our humble contribution to the commemoration of International Women´s Day.

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley (1797 – 1851) was an English novelist who wrote the Gothic novel Frankenstein (1818). She also edited and promoted the works of her husband, the Romantic poet and philosopher Percy Bysshe Shelley. Her father was the political philosopher William Godwin and her mother was the philosopher and feminist activist Mary Wollstonecraft.
Maya Angelou (1928 – 2014) was an American poet, memoirist, and civil rights activist. 
Rupi Kaur (born 1992) is an Indian-born Canadian poet, illustrator, and author. Kaur rose to fame on Instagram and Tumblr through sharing her short visual poetry.
G.D Anderson is the pseudonym for Geena Dunne (born 1993), an Australian feminist writer and founder of Australian charity, The Cova Project.
